Our History...
Techknow Incorporated began in 1994 by a group of people who formerly worked in the quick service industry.

1994 - Techknow Incorporated is formed and installs the first Order Confirmation System at McDonald's in Clearview, Washington.

1995 - Techknow releases the VIDIGraphic Multimedia Drive-Thru System, a system that not only offers order confirmation but also live real-time video of the customer and the order taker during the ordering process.

1996 - Techknow celebrates a milestone with over 500 units installed.

1997 - In order to become more user-friendly to our customers, Techknow changes from DOS based PCs to Windows based PCs to control the Techknow Order Confirmation Systems.

1999 - Introduces the 15" sunlight viewable LCD screen in drive-thru. While continuing to install and maintain order confirmation systems in McDonald's franchises, Techknow continues to grow with units installed in Bojangle's, Hardees and Captain D's.

2000 - Techknow introduces the TK3000 Order Confirmation System, a Linux based system that operates without a dedicated PC. The franchise expansion continues with units installed in Dairy Queen.

2001 - The innovation continues with the TK3000 sealed system. Techknow continues installing order confirmation systems in McDonald's franchises as well as Arby's, Taco Bell, KFC, Back Yard Burgers, Popeye's and Wendy's franchises.

2002 - Techknow moves into its new state of the art 20,000 square foot building. The expansion continues with OCS units installed in Harvey's in Canada, Big D's, Braum's, Jollibee and Max Hamburgare in Sweden. Techknow continues innovating with the TK3000 OCS-300 Drive-Thru Order Confirmation System offering a 17" LCD display, the largest in the OCS industry.

2003 - New franchises include Long John Silver's and Krystal. Techknow has installed thousands of Order Confirmation Systems in the United States and worldwide in countries such as South Africa, the United Kingdom, the Dominican Republic and more... Techknow also introduces the FCS-100 Front Counter Order Confirmation System and the ETS-100 Drive-Thru Event Timer System.

2004 - Techknow continues to lead the Order Confirmation System into the future with our new DTS-100 Drive-Thru Statistics Reporting System. Techknow is also the approved vendor for Arby's, Back Yard Burgers and Captain D's.
